Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Technician

Responsible for assigned safety and environmental tasks working from the Dillard, Oregon Western Regional Office. Work will be performed in both the regional office and at various plant sites. This position is intended to be a starting point to both learn and assist with safety and environmental functions. There is an expectation of job advancement moving in to a dedicated safety or environmental position either in the Western Regional Office or plant locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn both safety and environmental requirements while filling in as needed at plant locations
  • Assist with basic administrative functions for EHS Department
  • Providing assistance to the EHS Department and EHS personnel on routine monitoring activities
  • Compiling and/or reviewing reports and documents for submittal to government agencies
  • Conduct audits as needed
  • Conduct investigations as needed
  • Develop training materials and conduct training sessions as needed
  • Assist on project task teams as needed
  • Models company core values

Preferred Qualifications

  • B.A. or B.S. in Environmental, Engineering, Math, Science, or Safety
