HRP’s Clifton Park New York office has an immediate full time opportunity for an individual with six or more years of experience in Environmental Compliance. The Candidate will have demonstrated success managing projects and staff to complete a wide variety of projects for our clients. The candidate will possess curiosity, drive and ambition. Candidates must demonstrate firsthand experience in completion of the following tasks:

  • Multimedia Compliance Auditing
  • Hazardous Waste Management
  • Storm Water Permit and Spill Control Plan preparation
  • Petroleum and Chemical Tank Management
  • Development of Corrective Actions
  • Completion of applicability, determinations, plans, permits, training for various environmental programs
  • Environmental Management Systems
  • Ability to learn and apply new regulatory requirements
  • Problem solving for a wide variety of clients


Individuals must have strong organizational, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills and be proficient in MS Office products and appropriate professional level software. Specific qualifications for the role include:

  • BS degree in Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or technically related field
  • 6 years plus of experience in Environmental Compliance, preferably in a consulting environment
  • Possess a current PE license or eligible to obtain a PE license (a plus)
  • Management and development of junior staff
