Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance of OSHA, site specific, and client safety rules and programs from all employees and sub-contractor personnel 
  • Communicate with all employees and sub-contractors the project’s safety compliance expectations 
  • Make daily inspection rounds to observe and guide personnel in safe work practices and methods
  • Oversee new hire drug screening and employment documentation
  • Participate in project progress meetings and stay abreast of task scheduling to ensure that potential workplace hazards are discussed and safe work practices planned
  • Preparation and execution of Weekly Safety Tool Box meetings
  • Prepare a weekly safety report summarizing your daily activities, training and near miss and incident summary
  • Liaise with the appropriate project managers as necessary, to address project safety, health and environmental compliance issues
  • Conduct all incident investigation and analysis and verify documentation


 Minimum Requirements:

  • OSHA 30 in Construction or higher OSHA certification  
  • At least 3 years of professional safety experience in the field 
  • Any of the following certifications (not required but a plus): OSHA 510, OSHA 500, LSP, OHST, CHST, ASP, CSP
  • Preferred CPR, First Aid, and AED certification
  • Must have various industry experience in Electrical, New Construction, Rail, Manufacturing, Chemical, Petrochemical, Refineries, Pipelines, Steel Mills, Power Generation, Nuclear, Solar, Wind, Mining, and High Voltage Transmission & Distribution
  • Must understand case management and be computer savvy (Microsoft word and excel)
  • TWIC - preferred
  • Eligible to work in the US, pass a background check with criminal history and pass a drug test
  • Physical stamina to stand and travel regularly
  • This role requires 100% travel, apply ONLY if you are willing to travel
